What to expect
First we say: "No perfect people allowed." We are tired of pretending to be something we are not. We believe there has only been one perfect human Jesus. We know we aren't perfect and we do not expect our guests to be perfect.

That is why we also say: “Come as you are and you'll be loved."

On any given Sunday, there are all kinds of people in our church building. You'll find us wearing normal clothes, using regular words (not a bunch of religious jargon), and laughing a lot. We try to take God seriously, but not ourselves too much. We work to relate to God in real ways, not be religious or follow rules. We're working hard to cultivate an environment where normal people can meet with God. And we definitely won't pressure you to do something you're not ready to do.

Oh, and there's always coffee both before and after the service.

When we gather on Sundays, we begin with a time focusing our hearts on God. For 25-30 minutes we sing, pray, even sometimes sit in silence, as we honor God and connect with His presence. Some people may raise their hands, cry, clap. Don't feel pressured to do the same. These are just some Biblical ways that some people respond to God.

We then catch up on what's happening and have an opportunity to give an offering. As our guest, we don't expect an offering; you can re-fill your coffee or just get comfortable.

Then we study the Bible together. The aim of our study is to connect the Bible to our everyday lives, in ways both practical and profound.

We conclude with a time for response. God's Message is powerful and able to change us. We may respond in prayer, in singing, in seeking healing and freedom, in being empowered. Always we respond by being sent out to be the Church in the world.
